There comes a time in every 'gon's life when they need to leave the nest and explore who they are, what they want, all that good stuff. That is the journey Frann was on. They had left their cozy hometown to find their destiny, fortune, future friends and flock- the works. They didn't bring anything on their journey, just trusting their instincts and the directions of kindly strangers.

As it was though, they hadn't found much to their liking. Sure, there were a few groups here and there that they had stumbled upon, but none of them had clicked like they should have. They had made plenty of people's days exchanging prizes with them, and that made them happy, but it wasn't long before they had to move on, eager to find that group of Gachas they could call "home".

They passed sunny grasslands, cool forests, chilly mountain peaks, dark caves- all manners of biomes. It was beautiful, enchanting even, the different sights in the world around them filling them with wonder and awe as they saw all the possibilities they never knew before, but- it wasnt what they needed.
They kept on trucking, padding along that metaphorical ol' dusty trail, day after day and night after night. Until one night, they stopped in another forested area, with tall trees and short grass and shrubbery and small animals all around. They sat down and thought about their journey, what all they had seen, what they had yet to find, and why did it seem their standards were so high. Was something missing? Was something wrong with them? Surely nobody has had this much trouble just finding a group to stick with- right? There were plenty of Gachagons all around, eager to accept a new member to whatever merry band they had already gotten together, why did none of them feel right? Maybe they were just meant to be alone, wandering along for the rest of their days, a drifter, a lone 'gon, a-

Thats when they saw it. A large, starry figure, their bright glowing parts giving Frann the ability to make out where a few of their limbs, and head, and pouch was- this was another Gacha. For no particular reason they could place besides pure curiosity, Frann followed the Gacha to a clearing in this wooded area, where there were more of their shared kind, sitting around a fire and talking amongst themselves about something or other. The celestial looking Gacha settled on the ground and put down a small crate, which after being opened, was revealed to contain various supplies for your typical camping snacks. Popcorn, s'mores, hot chocolate, et cetera; they looked to be preparing for an exciting evening.
Frann stayed by the trees, unusually nervous to investigate this group. They had no idea why- they'd been eager and excited to talk with other Gachas previously, what was different about these? Frann just chalked it up to nervousness, thats all.

They watched the group for some time, just observing. Seeing how they talked, the dynamics between each Gacha, their individual mannerisms and overall personalities. They already had a few mental notes:
There was a sharp looking one, who kept changing color and Frann couldnt really place why. If they ever talked, they would have to ask. This Gacha was very affectionate with a longer, fluffy looking 'gon. They were most likely partners with how tender they were to eachother. This lizard-like Gacha also seemed to have an affectionate relationship with a long pink gacha, but the pink one looked younger, and also fairly lizard-y. This made Frann assume the long pink one was the lizard one's child.
The fluffy one seemed to keep two of the more energetic members of the group out of trouble, from where Frann was hidden, they could easily hear the stern but gentle tone they took when reminding their comrades to not roughouse so close to the fire. They also glowed.
There was a smaller pink Gacha, though this one reminded Frann of a kitten with how much they batted at and teased the longer pink Gacha. It was all in good fun it seemed.
Then there was a Gacha that made them think of the winter holidays, they helped make snacks, occassionally offering their friends whatever holiday trats they had brought with them in what looked like a sort of saddlebag. They seemed nice enough, sometimes playing with the pinks, though mostly talking with the lizard.
The cosmic 'gon Frann had encountered earlier just relaxed nearby, talking with the lizard one and the fluffy one every so often, but also closing their eyes for a few minutes to just bask in the warmth of the fire.

At some point during the night, the two pinks got tired and rested near the fire. The others helped them get some snackage, and their whole little group fell quiet, peaceful.
"We can see you, bud." The lizard one spoke, cutting though the silence. Their tone wasn't agitated, or stern- it was almost inviting, in a way. Frann tensed, not sure if they should stay or leave.
"We don't bite, c'mon over!"

Frann stepped out from the trees. This felt like home.
