[HDP] Hearts and Dragonparts

Hearts and Dragonparts day was here and everyone in the Keep was excited. Gachas all around were out buying sweets for their loved ones, walking around holding paws and intertwining tails. The Keep was alive with all kinds of love and care; and very busy. A poofy, white sheep Gacha was standing out against the couples that were all around. She seemed to have a pep in her step despite being all on her lonesome. A plastic bag hung from her mouth and a brown satchel at her side. The Gacha passed the crowds and went off onto the edge of the Keep, coming to the grassy outskirts. The hum of voices slowly faded to peaceful silence as the Gacha got further away. Skipping still, she comes upon a quaint, wooden cottage and places the bag down. "Now where did I put that…" The Gacha mumbles as she reaches into her bag. Her paw finally finds a key and she lets out a small 'aha'! As she makes her way inside, she picks up the bag again and heads to the kitchen. She places the bag on the counter as well as her satchel and starts to unpack. Now she just had to get everything ready in time….

It was a glorious day for Hearts and Dragonparts, the sun was shining and there was not a single cloud in the sky. The ever graceful Gacha flew through the air over the keep, watching all the Gachagons playing and celebrating below. It was nice, yes, but Nova wasn't the type to...publicly display those kinds of emotions. It wasn't because she didn't want to per say but she was just extremely shy and felt that it's more sentimental to spend time alone with your significant other. With a flap of her wings, she passes the Keep and her cabin came into sight. A bit of anxiety leaves her as her home grew nearer as she knew who waited inside. The wyvern-like Gacha lands gracefully, the grass around gently billowing from the impact. Nova makes her way inside the cabin, having to lower her head slightly due to the doorway being slightly off for her height. She blinks in surprise when she notices her partner isn't inside. She looks around with a slight tilt of her head till she notices a note on the wall near the kitchen.

The Gacha couldn't help but smile, of course her silly little partner would make this into a bit of a game. She always liked to be extravagant with these sorts of things.

Beau couldn't withhold her excitement, the little sheep Gacha stamped her paws into the grass impatiently. She kept her eyes to the sky to watch for her lover. A small gasp of excitement comes from her when she sees the beautiful wings in the air. It's only a few moments before she lands in front of her, yellow eyes widening at seeing the set up. A picnic was set up on a starry quilt with small candles on the edges. The food consists of a basket filled with fruits, heart shaped cookies on a plate that are white and blue to match their colors, and a pitcher of shimmering, red hibiscus tea.

"So?"

"I love it, darling…"

Nova moves over to her girlfriend and wraps her wings around her, nuzzling into the soft wool.

"You outdid yourself for another year." She chuckles, leaving a small kiss on the other's cheek before pulling away.

"W-well of course! You're wonderful and I want to give you everything special because you deserve it."

Nova lets out a soft chuckle before taking a seat beside her beloved. She leans against her and closes her eyes.

"You're the wonderful one."

With that, the two of them start their picnic and watch the sunset. Just the two of them.
